deutherm expands into the fiber optic network
Network operator M-net and fiber optic provider TNG Stadtnetz GmbH Kiel rely on deutherm free cooling
The expansion of the fiber optic network is an increasingly interesting business area for deutherm. For example, the network operator M-net has placed an order to equip 15 fiber optic PoP stations with free cooling systems. The stations, which were previously cooled with climate-hostile air conditioning systems, will be successively converted to free cooling technology, which will reduce energy costs by up to 90 %.
In view of the sustainability qualities of the deutherm free cooling systems, M-net has also commissioned the equipment of five new container stations in Bavaria. In addition, two mobile emergency containers will be equipped with deutherm Free Cooling systems, which will be used if one of the PoP stations should fail.
Participation in the ANGA COM trade fair
Participation in the ANGA COM trade fair was also very successful! The fiber optic provider TNG Stadtnetz GmbH Kiel will initially test the free cooling technology in three PoP stations. The plan is to convert all locations.
